On September 26, 2025, a team from the Darfur Victims Advocacy Organization, in collaboration with Hope and Haven Organization, distributed food baskets to displaced persons fleeing El Fasher and its camps (Abu Shouk, Abuja, Zamzam) at Um Yanquor Camp – Tawila Locality, North Darfur State.
🛑 The response targeted 300 displaced families, mostly women, children, and the elderly, who arrived in Tawila in September 2025 and are facing dire humanitarian conditions, including:
- Severe shortage of food and medical supplies
- Lack of adequate shelter materials
- Urgent need for infant nutritional milk
⚠️ Tawila Locality is currently hosting approximately 1.5 million displaced persons, dramatically increasing humanitarian needs beyond the capacity of local organizations.
🙏 The two organizations are issuing an urgent appeal to all local, regional, and international humanitarian agencies to intervene swiftly and provide life-saving assistance to civilians in Tawila, North Darfur State.

📢 نداء إنساني عاجل – محلية طويلة، شمال دارفور
بتاريخ ٢٧ سبتمبر ٢٠٢٥م
نفّذ فريق منظمة مناصرة ضحايا دارفور بالتعاون مع منظمة الأمل والملاذ توزيع سلال غذائية للنازحين الفارين من الفاشر ومعسكراتها (أبوشوك، أبوجا، زمزم) في معسكر أم ينقور – محلية طويلة، ولاية شمال دارفور، وذلك يوم ٢٦ سبتمبر ٢٠٢٥م.
🛑 استهدفت الاستجابة ٣٠٠ أسرة نازحة معظمهم من النساء والأطفال وكبار السن، الذين وصلوا إلى طويلة في سبتمبر ٢٠٢٥م ويعيشون أوضاعًا إنسانية قاسية تشمل:
• نقص حاد في الغذاء والإمدادات الطبية
• غياب مواد الإيواء الملائمة
• احتياج عاجل إلى حليب التغذية للأطفال
⚠️ تستضيف محلية طويلة حاليًا ما يقارب مليون ونصف المليون نازح ممّا يزيد حجم الاحتياجات الإنسانية بشكل يفوق قدرات المنظمات المحلية.
🙏 تطلق المنظمتان نداءً عاجلاً إلى جميع المنظمات المحلية والإقليمية والدولية للتدخل السريع وتقديم المساعدات الإنسانية المنقذة للحياة للمدنيين في محلية طويلة بولاية شمال دارفور.
