General Situation:

The residents of Abu Shouk Camp are facing increasing pressures due to the ongoing war and the economic blockade imposed by the RSF on the city. The shelling led to a partial closure of the market and exacerbated the economic conditions, with a significant rise in the prices of essential goods. The price of a 50 kg sack of sugar has reached 250,000 Sudanese pounds, a 50 kg sack of flour 120,000 Sudanese pounds, and a jerrycan of oil 110,000 Sudanese pounds. Cases of malnutrition have emerged among children and women, particularly in Blocks 4 to 28 in both the eastern and western parts of the camp, where many families are surviving on a single meal per day.

Health Situation:

Abu Shouk Camp has only one health center serving approximately 140,000 people. The center operates from 9 AM to 2 PM, and there is a severe shortage of medicines and medical supplies.

Recommendations:
Accountability for Perpetrators: It is essential to hold those responsible for these crimes accountable under national and international laws.
Opening Humanitarian Corridors: Facilitate the urgent delivery of humanitarian aid and end the blockade imposed on affected areas.
Cease Artillery and Aerial Attacks on Civilians: All hostilities against civilians must be halted, and their protection must be ensured.
Ending the War: A call for an immediate and comprehensive cessation of hostilities and efforts to achieve lasting peace in the region.
