The undersigned organizations once again express their profound concern about the unbearable suffering of civilians in Sudan due to the ongoing fighting between the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) and its allied armed groups on the one hand, and the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) on the other. Massive mobilization of civilians and armament of likely volunteer fighters, with light and heavy weapons, fuel the fighting further and provides the waring parties with additional pretexts to consider civilian areas as military targets.
