The Darfur Victims Support Organization condemns the aerial bombardment carried out by the military’s war planes on the second day of Eid at approximately 1:00 AM in the Dar Al-Salam locality, East Darfur State, located southeast of Al-Fashir, approximately 50 to 60 kilometers away.
The attack involved three explosive barrels dropped into the valley in the middle of the town near the Acacia Forest on March 31, 2025, causing panic and fear among citizens, although no casualties were reported.
It should be noted that Dar Al-Salam has been hosting displaced persons fleeing from Al-Fashir and other states, particularly due to recent incidents in areas neighboring the city. The Darfur Victims Support Organization issues a humanitarian appeal to the international community, the United Nations, and the Security Council to fulfill their duties to stop the war and protect civilians.”
