Subject: Urgent Appeal to Rescue Displaced Persons from El Fasher and Its Camps to Tawila Locality
The Darfur Victims Support Organization , Safe Haven Organization issue an urgent humanitarian plea to save the lives of approximately 50,000 displaced individuals fleeing from El Fasher and its camps (Abuja, Zamzam, and Abu Shouk). These individuals arrived in Tawila Locality (North Darfur State) under dire circumstances on the morning of Sunday, April 13, 2025.
Catastrophic Conditions:
- Most Vulnerable Groups:
The majority of the displaced are women, children, and the elderly , with 10 cases of childbirth during the journey in the absence of medical care.
- Critical Needs: Severe shortages of food, shelter materials, milk for children, and essential medicines.
- Daily Deterioration: An influx of 300 families per day is overwhelming the limited resources of the organizations’ communal kitchens, threatening to collapse response efforts.
Current Response Efforts:
The two organizations currently rely on self-funded efforts and limited resources , supported by volunteers. However, the exponential rise in arrivals has rendered these efforts insufficient to address the escalating humanitarian catastrophe.
Our Urgent Appeal:
We implore all humanitarian organizations, UN agencies (such as the World Food Programme, UNHCR, and WHO), governments, and donors to act immediately by providing:
- Emergency food aid and shelter materials (tents, blankets).
- Medical supplies , including emergency medicines and safe delivery kits.
- Infant formula and nutritional supplements to prevent child malnutrition.
- Strengthened on-site health services to curb disease outbreaks.
- Funding to sustain ongoing relief operations and ensure aid distribution.

مناشدة إنسانية عاجلة: إنقاذ حياة 50,000 نازح في دارفور

الموضوع: نداء عاجل لإنقاذ النازحين من الفاشر ومعسكراتها إلى محلية طويلة
تُطلق منظمتا مناصرة ضحايا دارفور والملاذ الآمن نداءً إنسانياً عاجلاً لإنقاذ حياة ما يقارب 50,000 نسمة من النازحين الفارين من الفاشر ومعسكراتها (أبوجا، زمزم، أبو شوك)، والذين وصلوا إلى محلية طويلة (ولاية شمال دارفور) في ظروف مأساوية صباح اليوم، الأحد 13 أبريل 2025م.
الأوضاع الكارثية:
- الفئات الأكثر ضعفاً:
غالبية النازحين من النساء والأطفال وكبار السن، مع تسجيل 10 حالات ولادة خلال الرحلة في ظل غياب الرعاية الطبية. - احتياجات مُلحّة: نقص حاد في الغذاء، مواد الإيواء، الحليب للأطفال، والأدوية الأساسية.
- تدهور يومي: تصل 300 أسرة يومياً إلى المنطقة، بينما تُقدّم المطبخيات التابعة للمنظمتين وجبات غذائية بموارد محدودة، ما يهدد بانهيار القدرة على الاستجابة.
الاستجابة الحالية:
تعتمد المنظمتان حالياً على الجهود الذاتية والموارد المحدودة ، بدعم من المتطوعين، لكنّ الزيادة الهائلة في الأعداد تجعل هذه المحاولات غير كافية لمواجهة الكارثة الإنسانية المتفاقمة.
نداؤنا العاجل:
نناشد كافة المنظمات الإنسانية، ووكالات الأمم المتحدة (مثل برنامج الأغذية العالمي، مفوضية اللاجئين، منظمة الصحة العالمية)، والحكومات، والمتبرعين، بالتحرك الفوري لدعم النازحين عبر:
- توفير مساعدات غذائية عاجلة ومواد إيواء (خيام، بطانيات).
- إرسال شحنات طبية تشمل أدوية الطوارئ وحقائب الولادة الآمنة.
- دعم الأطفال بـ **حليب صناعي وأغذية تكميلية لمنع سوء التغذية.
- تعزيز الخدمات الصحية الميدانية لتجنب تفشي الأوبئة.
- تمويل عمليات الإغاثة المستمرة لضمان استمرار توزيع المساعدات.
