🚨 Urgent Humanitarian Appeal from Darfur Victim Support Organization 🚨📍 North Darfur State – Korma Administrative Unit.

We, Darfur Victim Support Organization, urgently appeal to all international and local organizations, governments, and humanitarian actors to take immediate action to save thousands of displaced people in Korma, who are living in
catastrophic conditions. 💔

Crisis Details:

• 140 displaced families arrived from “Zamzam” and “Abu Shouk” camps, bringing the total number of displaced individuals to 5,000 , most crammed into a single center in Selk Camp with no adequate shelter or basic services.
• 21 children suffering from severe acute malnutrition, alongside outbreaks of deadly diseases like acute diarrhea, eye infections, and contagious illnesses.
• On April 17, 60 additional displaced families arrived, escalating risks of famine and epidemics.

Our Urgent Appeal:
We demand:

1. 🍞 Emergency food aid + 🩹 medical supplies to save lives.
2. 🏥 Support health centers with medicines and medical staff.
3. 🏠 Establish additional shelters to reduce overcrowding.
4. 💧 Ensure clean drinking water and sanitation services.

نحن منظمة مناصرة ضحايا دارفورنناشد كافة المنظمات الدولية والمحلية، والحكومات، والفاعلين الإنسانيين، التحرك العاجل لإنقاذ آلاف النازحين في كورما، الذين يعيشون أوضاعاً إنسانية كارثية. 💔

📊 تفاصيل الأزمة:

• 🚚 وصلت إلى المنطقة 140 أسرة نازحة من معسكري “زمزم” و”أبو شوك”، ليصل إجمالي عدد النازحين إلى 5,000 فرد ، معظمهم مُكتظون في مركز واحد داخل معسكر سلك 🏚️، دون مأوى لائق أو خدمات أساسية.
• 🧒🏾 رصدنا 21 طفلاً يعانون من سوء التغذية الحاد** 🍚🚫، مع انتشار أمراض خطيرة مثل: الإسهالات الحادة، التهابات العين، وأمراض مُعدية 🦠.
• ⚠️ في 17 أبريل، وصلت 60 أسرة نازحة إضافية ، مما زاد من خطر المجاعات والأوبئة. 🆘 نداؤنا العاجل:
