The Darfur Victims Support Organization strongly condemns the arrest of journalist Munir al-Turki by security forces in the city of Merowe, Northern State. He was taken from his family’s home in the Nuri area late on the evening of Saturday, May 10, 2025. Munir is a regular contributor to the Al-Rakoba website and previously served as a cultural editor for several Sudanese newspapers.
