Darfur Victims Support

Report on the progress of the charitable kitchen run by hope Haven refugees Organization and Darfur Victims support Organization in Korma Administrative Unit and Silik IDP Camp, North Darfur State, Fasher.

For the fourth consecutive day, volunteers from Darfur Victims support Organization and hope Haven refugees Organization continued to provide food for displaced people fleeing Fasher and its camps (Abu Shouk, Abu Ja, Zamzam) and Silik camp on May 21, 2025. The kitchen targeted women, children, the elderly, and people with disabilities and special needs. Approximately 150 meals were distributed to displaced people in Korma Administrative Unit. There is an urgent humanitarian need due to the daily increase in the number of displaced people from Fasher and Golo, with 100 to 120 families arriving daily. These families are in urgent humanitarian need. The two organizations are launching an urgent humanitarian appeal to all local, regional, and international organizations to intervene immediately and provide them with assistance, especially in the areas of health, drinking water, and toilets.
