تدين منظمة مناصرة ضحايا دارفور قرار سلطة الأمر الواقع في السودان بقيادة البرهان حظر خدمة الاتصال الصوتي علي تطبيق واتساب اعتبار ٢٠٢٥م يوليو ٢٠٢٥م هذا يمثل انتهاكا خطيرًا للديكتاورية ومصادرة حرية التعبير والتعدي علي حقوق المدنيين في السودان، ان سياسة تكميم الافواه لن تجدي ،يعتمد عشرات الملايين في السودان علي تطبيق واتساب للتواصل مع اسرهم في الداخل والخارج وتلقي الدعم عبره ،ان هذا القرار يعرض حياة المدنيين للخطر ،علما بأن علما سلطة الأمر الواقع تقول انها تريد الحفاظ علي الامن القوي ،ليس صحيحا ان هذه السلطة تهدد حياة المدنيين بإنشاء مليشيات مسلحة مثل والبراء ودرع السودان وغيرهم من المليشيات، تناشد المنظمة سلطة الأمر الواقع بالتوقف الفوري عن هذه القرارات الغير دستورية،سوف تقوم المنظمة بتقديم طعن قانون هذا القرار ومناهضته .
We condemn the decision of the de facto authority in Sudan, led by al-Burhan, to ban voice calls on WhatsApp starting July 2025. This decision represents a serious violation of democracy, suppression of free expression, and an infringement on the rights of civilians in Sudan.
The policy of silencing voices will not succeed. Tens of millions in Sudan depend on WhatsApp to communicate with their families both inside and outside the country and to receive vital support. This decision endangers the lives of civilians.
The de facto authority claims it seeks to maintain strong security, but this is false—it threatens civilian lives by forming armed militias like Al-Baraa and Sudan Shield, among others.
The organization calls upon the de facto authority to immediately halt these unconstitutional decisions and will pursue legal action to challenge and oppose this decision.
