With the support form Redsea Media Melbourne, the Darfur Victims support Organization and the hop Haven refugees Organization distributed food baskets to displaced persons fleeing El Fasher and its camps — Abu Shouk, Zamzam, and Abuja. The distribution targeted displaced gatherings in Tawila, Hilla Al-Omda, reaching 100 families on May 21, 2025. Displaced persons fleeing El Fasher are suffering from catastrophic humanitarian conditions, including shortages of food, medicine, and shelter. The organizations are launching an the organization call for urgent humanitarian appeal to all local, regional, and international organizations for immediate intervention, given the approaching rainy season which poses problems in the health sector, especially with regard to latrines.
