النازحة محاسن عبدالله من ولاية شمال دارفور الفاشر فقدت زوجها في حرب ١٥ ابريل ٢٠٢٣م بين الجيش والدعم السريع تدلي بشهادات مؤثرة لما يعانيه المدنيين داخل مدينة الفاشر من الجوع جراء الحصار الذي فرضته قوات الدعم السريع علي المدينة لأكثر من عام ،إنهم لجأوا أكل علف الحيوانات الامباز مما سبب لهم سوء تغذية وأمراض أخري وإن اطفالها يموتون امامها من الجوع ١١ يونيو ٢٠٢٥م، توجه نداء عاجل إلي دعمها من أهل الخير والمنظمات العاملة في المجال الإنساني ،تطالب المنظمة قوات الدعم السريع برفع الحصار فورا عن المدينة، تناشد أطراف النزاع لوقف الحرب وعدم استخدام الغذاء كسلاح ،كما تؤكد إن ليس هناك حل عسكري للصراع المسلح فيالسودان وتحث الاطراف الدخول في مفاوضات مباشرة لحل الأزمة.
The displaced woman, Mahasin Abdullah, from El Fasher, North Darfur state, lost her husband in the April 15, 2023 war between the army and the Rapid Support Forces. She gives powerful testimony about the suffering of civilians inside El Fasher due to hunger caused by the siege imposed on the city by the Rapid Support Forces for more than a year. They have resorted to eating animal fodder (ambaz), which has led to malnutrition and other diseases, and she witnesses her children dying before her eyes from hunger. On June 11, 2025, she makes an urgent appeal for support from benevolent individuals and humanitarian organizations. The organization calls on the Rapid Support Forces to immediately lift the siege on the city and urges the conflicting parties to end the war and not use food as a weapon. It also affirms that there is no military solution to the armed conflict in Sudan and encourages the parties to engage in direct negotiations to resolve the crisis.
