We greet you through our humble newspaper in this edition, which carries within its pages countless tragedies and sorrows. The war that erupted on April 15, 2023, in Khartoum between the Sudanese army and the Rapid Support Forces was thought by many to be short-lived. But that first moment turned into a minute, the minute into an hour, then a day and two, and with every passing moment, the cries of children grew louder in fear and panic, while hope for a return to normal life—far from the whizzing bullets—flickered.
From the moment the first shot was fired, normal life came to a complete halt in Khartoum. Gradually, the disruption spread to other cities and states until the war engulfed most of Sudan. A week passed, then two, with no glimmer of hope. A month, then two, and the Sudanese dream of ending the war began to fade, their hopes evaporating before their eyes.
With every moment the war continues, grave human rights violations are committed—extrajudicial killings, torture, sexual violence, and the destruction of life’s essentials. Indirect violations also persist, such as starvation, deprivation of education, and the displacement of families.
The first year passed, heavy with crimes and catastrophic consequences. The second year came, claiming more innocent lives, leaving thousands wounded, displacing millions of internally displaced persons and refugees, and keeping millions of children out of school. Now the third year has arrived, and the tragedy continues amid the absence of human conscience, the silence of the international community, and the insistence of the warring parties on fueling the conflict.
Through our platform (Voices of the Victims Newspaper), we strive—despite limited resources—to amplify the voices of the victims and document a portion of these painful events, hoping that the voices of the voiceless may reach the human conscience and the institutions concerned with human rights.
تراجيديات الحرب… 873 يومًا من الألم

نطلّ عليكم عبر صحيفتنا المتواضعة في هذا العدد، الذي يحمل بين صفحاته مآسي وآلامًا لا تُحصى. الحرب التي اندلعت في 15 أبريل 2023 بالخرطوم بين الجيش السوداني وقوات الدعم السريع، ظنّ الكثيرون أنها ستنطفئ سريعًا. لكن اللحظة الأولى تحولت إلى دقيقة، والدقيقة إلى ساعة، ثم يوم ويومين، ومع مرور كل دقيقة يزداد صراخ الأطفال خوفًا وهلعًا، ويزداد الأمل في عودة الحياة إلى طبيعتها بعيدًا عن أزيز الرصاص.منذ إطلاق الطلقة الأولى توقفت الحياة الطبيعية تمامًا في الخرطوم، ثم بدأت تتعطل تدريجيًا في بقية المدن والولايات، حتى عمّت الحرب معظم أنحاء السودان. مرّ أسبوع وأسبوعان دون أي بارقة أمل، ثم شهر وشهران، فتبدّد حلم السودانيين في وقف الحرب، وغدت آمالهم تتبخر أمام أعينهم.خلال كل لحظة من لحظات استمرار الحرب، تُرتكب انتهاكات جسيمة لحقوق الإنسان، قتل خارج نطاق القانون، تعذيب، عنف جنسي، وتدمير لمقومات الحياة. كما تتوالى الانتهاكات غير المباشرة المتمثلة في التجويع، الحرمان من التعليم، وتشريد الأسر.انقضى العام الأول مثقلًا بالجرائم والآثار الكارثية، ثم جاء العام الثاني ليحصد مزيدًا من الأرواح البريئة ويخلّف آلاف الجرحى، ويشرّد الملايين من النازحين واللاجئين، ويترك ملايين الأطفال خارج أسوار التعليم. وها هو العام الثالث وما زالت المأساة مستمرة، في ظل غياب الضمير الإنساني، وصمت المجتمع الدولي، وإصرار أطراف الصراع على تغذية الحرب.من خلال نافذتنا ( صحيفة أصوات الضحايا ) نحاول، رغم قلة الإمكانيات، أن نرفع صوت الضحايا عاليًا، وأن نوثق جانبًا من هذه الأحداث المؤلمة، آملين أن يصل صوت من لا صوت لهم إلى الضمير الإنساني والجهات المعنية بحقوق الإنسان.
