On September 15, 2025, the Hope and Refuge Organization and the Darfur Victims Support Organization distributed food baskets to displaced persons in Al-Manara Camp, located in Ed Daein city – East Darfur State.
The aid targeted displaced families fleeing from Khartoum and Babnousa, most of whom are women, children, and the elderly. The response included the distribution of food baskets to 500 families (approximately 2,819 individuals), with the presence of the camp leader and youth and women representatives.
Beneficiaries indicated that they had not received any food assistance since April 2025, expressing deep appreciation for the efforts of both organizations. Al-Manara Camp suffers from a severe shortage of food, medical supplies, and safe drinking water.
Both organizations renew their urgent humanitarian appeal to all local, regional, and international organizations for swift intervention and provision of essential aid.
نداء إنساني عاجل: آلاف النازحين في معسكر المنارة يتلقون أول مساعدات غذائية منذ أبريل
قامت منظمة الأمل والملاذ ومنظمة مناصرة ضحايا دارفور بتوزيع سلال غذائية للنازحين في معسكر المنارة بمدينة الضعين – ولاية شرق دارفور، وذلك في ١٥ سبتمبر ٢٠٢٥م.
استهدفت المساعدات الأسر النازحة الفارة من الخرطوم وبابنوسة، وغالبيتهم من النساء والأطفال وكبار السن. شملت الاستجابة توزيع سلال غذائية على 500 أسرة (حوالي ٢,٨١٩ شخصًا)، بحضور رئيس المعسكر وقيادات الشباب والمرأة.
وقد أشار المستفيدون إلى أنهم لم يتلقوا أي مساعدات غذائية منذ أبريل ٢٠٢٥م، مؤكدين تقديرهم الكبير لجهود المنظمتين. ويعاني معسكر المنارة من نقص حاد في الغذاء والإمدادات الطبية ومياه الشرب الصالحة.
تجدد المنظمتان نداءهما الإنساني العاجل لكل المنظمات المحلية والإقليمية والدولية للتدخل السريع وتقديم المساعدات الضرورية
