On September 16, 2025, the Hope and Haven for Refugee Organization and the Darfur Victims Support Organization distributed food baskets to displaced persons fleeing from the city of El Fasher and its camps (Abu Shouk, Abuja, Zamzam), in the administrative unit of Karoma – North Darfur State / El Fasher.
The humanitarian response targeted 340 displaced families (approximately 1,500 individuals) who arrived from El Fasher at the beginning of September 2025, most of whom are women, children, and the elderly.
The distribution took place in the presence of displaced community leaders and representatives of women and youth, who expressed their gratitude to both organizations for the humanitarian aid. They also appealed for additional support during the autumn season, given the displaced population’s suffering due to a shortage of shelter materials.
Both organizations renew their urgent humanitarian appeal to all local, regional, and international organizations for immediate intervention and the provision of necessary assistance.
شريان حياة في دارفور: المساعدات الإنسانية تصل إلى ١,٥٠٠ نازح
قامت منظمة الأمل والملاذ ومنظمة مناصرة ضحايا دارفور بتوزيع سلال غذائية للنازحين الفارين من مدينة الفاشر ومعسكراتها (أبوشوك، أبوجا، زمزم) وذلك في ١٦ سبتمبر ٢٠٢٥م، بوحدة كروما الإدارية – ولاية شمال دارفور/الفاشر.
استهدفت الاستجابة الإنسانية ٣٤٠ أسرة نازحة (حوالي ١,٥٠٠ فرد)، وصلوا من الفاشر في بداية سبتمبر ٢٠٢٥م، وغالبيتهم من النساء والأطفال وكبار السن.
تم التوزيع بحضور قيادات النازحين وممثلي المرأة والشباب، حيث عبروا عن شكرهم للمنظمتين على هذه المساعدات الإنسانية، كما ناشدوا بتوفير دعم إضافي خلال فصل الخريف، في ظل معاناة النازحين من نقص مواد الإيواء.
تجدد المنظمتان نداءهما الإنساني العاجل لكل المنظمات المحلية والإقليمية والدولية للتدخل الفوري وتقديم المساعدات الضرورية.
