The humanitarian and health situation in the Darfur region has deteriorated. These images document cholera patients in a health center lacking the most basic necessities of life. On September 20, 2025, 441 cases were recorded, including 13 deaths. The total number of cases has risen to 12,746, with 528 deaths. The Darfur Victims Advocacy Organization and the Hope and Safe Haven Organization are issuing an urgent humanitarian appeal to all local, regional, and international organizations for immediate intervention. Both organizations are urging the de facto authorities to declare the Darfur region a disaster zone so the world can gain access.
