On September 28, 2025, the Hope and Haven Organization, in collaboration with the Darfur Victims Support Organization, carried out a food basket distribution for displaced families at Sabrin Camp in East Darfur – El Daein.
The camp shelters displaced people from Khartoum, West Kordofan, Al Jazirah, El Geneina, Nyala, Zalingei, and El Fasher, with the majority being women, children, the elderly, and persons with disabilities.
The response targeted 971 families, totaling approximately 4,810 individuals, aiming to alleviate their suffering amid the harsh conditions of war.
Mr. Elhadi Adam, the camp leader, praised the efforts of both organizations, noting that this was the largest aid delivery since their arrival. He called for further support, especially in the areas of food, water, and health.
A representative of the women in the camp also expressed gratitude to the organizations for extending a helping hand during a difficult time when displaced people lack the most basic necessities of life.
Both organizations urge all humanitarian and relief agencies to intensify support and expand emergency interventions to save thousands of displaced families facing dire conditions in East Darfur.

توزيع مساعدات غذائية بمعسكر صابرين – شرق دارفور
بتاريخ ٢٨ سبتمبر ٢٠٢٥م، نفّذت منظمة الأمل والملاذ بالتعاون مع منظمة مناصرة ضحايا دارفور عملية توزيع سلال غذائية للنازحين في معسكر صابرين بولاية شرق دارفور – الضعين.
يأوي المعسكر نازحين من الخرطوم، غرب كردفان، الجزيرة، الجنينة، نيالا، زالنجي، والفاشر، وغالبيتهم من النساء والأطفال وكبار السن وذوي الإعاقة.
استهدفت الاستجابة ٩٧١ أسرة، بما يعادل حوالي ٤٬٨١٠ أفراد، وتهدف لتخفيف المعاناة عنهم في ظل الظروف القاسية للحرب.
أشاد الأستاذ الهادي آدم، رئيس المعسكر، بجهود المنظمتين مؤكداً أن هذه هي أكبر دفعة مساعدات تصل إلى المعسكر منذ وصولهم، مطالباً بمزيد من الدعم خصوصاً في مجالات الغذاء، المياه، والصحة.
كما عبّرت ممثلة النساء في المعسكر عن شكرها للمنظمتين لتقديم يد العون في وقت عصيب يفتقر فيه النازحون إلى أبسط مقومات الحياة.
🤝 تدعو المنظمتان جميع الجهات الإنسانية والإغاثية إلى تكثيف الدعم وتوسيع نطاق التدخلات العاجلة لإنقاذ آلاف الأسر النازحة التي تواجه ظروفاً قاسية في شرق دارفور.
