Pink October Event – Mellit Locality, North Darfur

As part of Pink October, the Hope and Refuge Organization, in collaboration with the Darfur Victims Support Organization and the Genderates for Peace and Nonviolence Organization, held an awareness event on breast cancer in Mellit locality, North Darfur State – El Fasher, on October 23, 2025.
Details:
The event welcomed 65 women and girls from various neighborhoods in the locality. Dr. Badur Al-Malik delivered a comprehensive awareness lecture on the causes of breast cancer, methods of prevention, and early detection. She emphasized the importance of community awareness and the psychological and social support for those affected.
Closing:
At the end of the event, appreciation gifts were distributed to the participants. The Genderates for Peace and Nonviolence Organization expressed its gratitude to all attendees and praised the fruitful partnership among the three organizations in promoting health awareness and supporting women amid the challenging humanitarian conditions in Darfur.
قوة في الوردي: مليط تستضيف حملة توعية بسرطان الثدي وسط التحديات الإنسانية
فعالية أكتوبر الوردي – محلية مليط، شمال دارفور

في إطار شهر أكتوبر الوردي، أقامت منظمة الأمل والملاذ للاجئين بالتعاون مع منظمة مناصرة ضحايا دارفور ومنظمة جندريات للسلام واللاعنف، فعالية توعوية حول سرطان الثدي بمحلية مليط بولاية شمال دارفور – الفاشر، وذلك يوم ٢٣ أكتوبر ٢٠٢٥م.
التفاصيل:
شهدت الفعالية مشاركة ٦٥ من النساء والفتيات من مختلف أحياء المحلية، وقدّمت خلالها الدكتورة بدور الملك محاضرة توعوية شاملة عن أسباب مرض سرطان الثدي، وطرق الوقاية والكشف المبكر، مؤكدة على أهمية الوعي المجتمعي ودعم المصابات نفسيًا واجتماعيًا.
في ختام الفعالية، تم توزيع الهدايا التقديرية للمشاركات، حيث عبّرت منظمة جندريات للسلام واللاعنف عن شكرها لكل المشاركات، مثمنة الشراكة المثمرة بين المنظمات الثلاث في تعزيز الوعي الصحي ودعم النساء في ظل الظروف الإنسانية الصعبة التي تعيشها دارفور.
