Great and significant efforts are being made by volunteers from the Darfur Victims Support Organization and the Hope and Haven Organization for Refugees in the emergency response to displaced persons fleeing from El Fasher and its camps—Abu Shouk, Abuja, and Zamzam—who have arrived at the administrative unit of Kurma. On November 2, 2025, food baskets were distributed to 300 families, approximately 2,000 individuals. The two organizations are issuing an urgent humanitarian appeal to all local, regional, and international organizations for immediate intervention.
