A massive fire broke out on the morning of Monday, May 11, 2026 . In the Al-Muhajir neighborhood of East Darfur State, eyewitnesses told the two organizations that the fire resulted in heavy losses of property and personal belongings of citizens.This has caused extremely difficult humanitarian conditions for the affected families.
According to initial reports, more than(60) families were affected completely After the fires destroyed their homes and livelihoods, the losses included the death and loss of a large number of livestock and various properties.
Among them:
Donkeys, horses, goats, and cows.
Carts and wagons
Food supplies and household goods .
The affected families are now homeless, lacking the most basic necessities of life, amidst an urgent humanitarian need for immediate intervention in various fields:
