I grew up in the Darfur region, in the western part of Sudan. In 2003, the former regime led by Omar al-Bashir committed grave human rights violations in our community. These crimes were massive and devastating. In response, we decided to create a Facebook page to raise awareness and monitor human rights violations in our area. The government targeted and killed men, women, the elderly, and even children. We began documenting these violations through our Facebook page. Due to the importance of our work, the community relied on us and supported our efforts. As a result, we officially registered our organization on August 14, 2023, in both Sudan and Uganda as a non-profit and non-governmental organization (NGO)
